Down to Earth

Pour the agave syrup and a pinch of truffle salt into the bottom of a Old Fashioned Glass.

Add half an orange wheel and muddle gently to release its juices and aroma.

Introduce the mezcal, Cynar, freshly squeezed lime juice, and simple syrup into a shaker.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously to blend the flavors.

Strain the mixture over fresh ice in the prepared Old Fashioned Glass.

Garnish with the remaining half-orange wheel and a twist of lime peel.
