Start with these components prepared in advance: Blanco tequila (jalapeno infused, see note).

Infuse the blanco tequila with jalapeno slices, ensuring you taste and adjust the infusion time to achieve the desired pepper flavor without excessive heat.

Combine the jalapeno-infused tequila, freshly squeezed lime juice, simple syrup, and pomegranate molasses in a cocktail shaker.

Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously to chill and blend the ingredients.

Double strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail coupe to achieve a smooth texture.

Serve immediately, without garnish.
