Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.
Select and pre-chill a highball glass.
Prepare a bouquet of fresh mint sprigs for garnish.
Pour the cognac, rose petal liqueur, Sauvignon Blanc, apple juice or cider, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and rich sugar syrup into the chilled glass.
Fill the glass two-thirds full with crushed ice and swizzle to mix.
Top with more crushed ice until the glass is full.
Garnish with the mint sprigs and serve with a straw.
