Cut the lime into wedges and place them in a cocktail coupe.

Sprinkle the brown cane sugar over the lime wedges.

Muddle the lime pieces thoroughly with a wooden muddler, mixing them well with the sugar.

Add the vodka and top with crushed ice.

Finish with a splash of dry sparkling wine, mix well, and serve with a straw.
