Chill a cocktail coupe and pour in the sparkling wine.

In a shaker, combine the vodka, lime juice, falernum, passionfruit syrup, and vanilla syrup. Shake vigorously.

Fine strain the mixture into the coupe over the sparkling wine.

Optionally, dust the surface of the cocktail with hibiscus powder and gently swirl with a bar spoon.

For your passionfruit vanilla syrup, if using frozen purée, ensure it is fully thawed and at room temperature before whisking with granulated sugar and vanilla syrup until completely combined. Store refrigerated in an airtight container.

To make hibiscus dust, pulse dried hibiscus flowers in a spice grinder until you achieve a fine powder. Store in a shaker for easy application.
