Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned Glass.

Prepare a garnish of a grapefruit wedge.

Shake the passion fruit-flavored vodka, Akashi-Tai Ginjo Yuzushu, freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice, rich sugar syrup, and optionally, the saline solution or pinch of salt, with ice.

Strain the mixture into the ice-filled Old Fashioned Glass.

Garnish with the grapefruit wedge.
