Celtic Margarita

Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill a cocktail coupe glass.

Rim the glass with salt by moistening the outer edge with lime or orange juice, then dipping it into salt.

Prepare a lemon wedge for garnish.

Shake the blended Scotch whisky, triple sec, freshly squeezed lemon juice, rich sugar syrup, and optional margarita bitters with ice.

Fine strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.

Garnish with the lemon wedge.
