Muddle the fresh cucumber slices and ginger slices in a shaker tin.

Add the lemon balm sprigs and gently press them to release their aroma.

Pour in the lemon juice, elderflower syrup, and vodka.

Fill the shaker tin with ice cubes and shake vigorously.

Double strain the mixture into an Old Fashioned glass filled with cracked ice.
