Strawberry Blonde

Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill a highball glass.

Prepare a garnish by slicing a strawberry in half.

Muddle the strawberries at the base of a shaker.

Add the vodka, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and rich sugar syrup to the shaker, then shake with ice.

Fine strain the mixture into the ice-filled highball glass.

Top with chilled soda water and briefly stir.

Garnish the drink with the half strawberry on the rim of the glass.
