In a mixing glass, combine the rye, dry curaçao, and yellow chartreuse.

Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes.

Stir the mixture until well-chilled and properly diluted.

Discard the ice water from the Old Fashioned Glass and strain the cocktail into the glass.

Express the oils from an orange peel over the drink and use it as a garnish.
