Select and pre-chill a cocktail coupe.
Prepare a garnish of orange zest twist and a Luxardo Maraschino cherry.
Stir the Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal, bittersweet orange-red aperitivo, Luxardo Maraschino liqueur, and chilled water with ice.
Fine strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.
Express the orange zest twist over the cocktail, then discard it. Garnish with the maraschino cherry.
