Battle of New Orleans

Chill a cocktail coupe by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water.

Combine the bourbon, simple syrup, absinthe, Peychaud's bitters, and orange bitters in a mixing glass.

Add ice and stir until well-chilled and properly diluted.

Strain the mixture into the prepared, chilled cocktail coupe.
