Use these specified component styles: Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old).

Chill a Martini glass to ensure optimal serving temperature.

Prepare a twist of orange zest for garnishing.

In a shaker, combine the light white rum, cognac, Grand Marnier or other cognac orange liqueur, and freshly squeezed orange juice.

Add ice to the shaker and shake the mixture well until chilled.
