Walnut Alexander

Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Chill a martini glass in advance to ensure optimal serving temperature.

Prepare freshly grated nutmeg for garnish.

Combine cognac, Nux Alpina walnut liqueur, rich sugar syrup, whipping cream, and optionally, egg white or cocktail foamer in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously to blend and chill the ingredients.

Strain the mixture back into the shaker, discarding the ice.

Dry shake the cocktail to enhance its texture and integrate the ingredients fully.

Fine strain the cocktail into the pre-chilled martini glass.

Finish with a dusting of freshly grated nutmeg on top.
