Vanilla & Raspberry Cocktail

Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Chill a martini glass in preparation for serving.

Select a few raspberries to use as garnish later.

Muddle the remaining raspberries at the base of a shaker.

Add the vanilla-flavored vodka, Shiraz red wine, and rich sugar syrup to the shaker. Include chilled water if you're not using wet ice.

Shake the mixture vigorously with ice until well-chilled.

Fine strain the cocktail into the pre-chilled martini glass.

Garnish with the reserved raspberries.
