Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill a highball glass.

Prepare a lime wedge for garnish.

Shake the absinthe, freshly squeezed lime juice, and rich sugar syrup with ice until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into the ice-filled highball glass and simultaneously pour in the ginger beer.

Garnish with the lime wedge.
