Chill a martini glass by filling it with ice and setting it aside.

In a cocktail shaker, combine pear vodka, triple sec, freshly squeezed juice from the lemon wedges, and simple syrup.

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well-chilled.

Empty the ice from the martini glass and rim it with sugar by running a lemon wedge around the edge and dipping it in sugar.

Strain the cocktail into the prepared sugar-rimmed martini glass.

Garnish with a twist of lemon peel and add a slice of green pear for an elegant finish.
