Rinse the Cocktail Coupe with absinthe and discard any excess.

Rub the rim of the glass with a slice of starfruit, then coat it with freshly cracked black pepper to adhere.

In a mixing glass, combine the blended Scotch, coffee liqueur, Jägermeister, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.

Stir the mixture well with ice until chilled.

Strain the cocktail into the prepared Coupe.

Garnish with a slice of starfruit before serving.
