Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill a cocktail coupe.

Prepare a garnish of freshly grated nutmeg.

Combine the light gold rum, freshly squeezed lemon juice, rich sugar syrup, La Fée Parisienne absinthe, orange bitters, and saline solution in a shaker.

Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously.

Strain the mixture into the pre-chilled cocktail coupe.

Dust the surface with freshly grated nutmeg.
