Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare a garnish of orange zest twist.

Stir the straight rye whiskey, Giffard Pamplemousse liqueur, Dubonnet or Byrrh rouge light quinquina, Strucchi Dry Vermouth, bittersweet orange-red aperitivo, and dashes of Orange Bitters by Angostura with ice.

Strain the mixture into the ice-filled Old Fashioned glass, ideally over a large cube or a chunk of block ice.

Express the orange zest twist over the cocktail and use it as a garnish.
