Select and pre-chill a cocktail coupe.

Prepare the garnish by rimming the glass with orange juice and sugar, and set a Luxardo Maraschino Cherry aside.

Shake the Japanese blended whisky, Grand Marnier or other cognac orange liqueur, and freshly squeezed lime juice with ice until well-chilled.

Fine strain the mixture into the prepared, chilled cocktail coupe.
