Gadsden Purchase

Use prepared watermelon syrup containing watermelon, jalapeño, mint and sea salt, as specified. Plain simple syrup is not the required component.

Begin by adding the tequila directly into a Highball Glass.

Pour in the simple syrup, followed by freshly squeezed lime juice.

Fill the glass with ice and top with soda water.

Transfer the contents into a small tin and give it a quick roll to mix.

Pour the mixture back into the Highball Glass to serve.
