Kentucky Buck

Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Chill a highball glass to prepare for serving.

Create a garnish by slicing a lemon wheel and a strawberry.

Muddle a small, ripe strawberry at the bottom of a shaker.

Add bourbon whiskey, freshly squeezed lemon juice, rich sugar syrup, and a couple of dashes of Angostura Aromatic Bitters into the shaker.

Shake the mixture vigorously with ice.

Fine strain the contents into the pre-chilled highball glass filled with fresh ice.

Top off with chilled Thomas Henry Ginger Beer and give a brief stir to incorporate.

Garnish with the prepared lemon wheel and strawberry slice.
