Death Star

Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare a garnish of star anise.

Stir the pisco, Liquore Strega, Cynar (or other carciofo amaro), and Bob's Grapefruit Bitters with ice until well-chilled.

Strain the mixture into the ice-filled glass, ideally over a large cube or chunk of block ice.

Garnish by floating the star anise on the surface.
