Smoky Hamptons

Chill an Old Fashioned glass by filling it with ice water while preparing the cocktail.

In a mixing glass, add bourbon, Islay Scotch, dry vermouth, elderflower liqueur, freshly squeezed lime juice, and bitters.

Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture until well-chilled and properly diluted.

Empty the ice water from the Old Fashioned glass and strain the cocktail into it.

Serve immediately to enjoy the complex, smoky flavors.
