Use 2:1 demerara sugar syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare an orange zest twist for garnish.

Stir the blended Scotch whisky, Lustau San Emilio Pedro Ximénez Sherry, sugar syrup, and Angostura Aromatic Bitters with ice.

Strain the mixture into the ice-filled Old Fashioned glass, ideally over a large cube or chunk of block ice.

Express the orange zest twist over the cocktail and place it as garnish.
