Royal Gingersnap

Pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Moisten the rim of the glass with sugar syrup and dip it into cinnamon powder to coat.

Prepare an orange zest twist for garnish.

Muddle the maraschino cherry in the base of a shaker.

Add the Canadian blended whisky, orange marmalade, ginger liqueur, freshly squeezed orange juice, and Angostura Aromatic Bitters to the shaker.

Shake well with ice.

Fine strain the mixture into the ice-filled Old Fashioned glass.

Express the orange zest twist over the cocktail and use it as a garnish.
