Chill a cocktail coupe by placing it in the freezer beforehand.

Combine the rye, limoncello, crème de violette, freshly squeezed lemon juice, aged sherry vinegar, and Angostura bitters in a cocktail shaker.

Add ice to the shaker and secure the lid.

Vigorously shake the mixture until well-chilled.

Strain the cocktail into the prepared frozen coupe glass.

Serve immediately.
