Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare a lemon zest twist for garnish.

Stir the cold black breakfast tea, freshly squeezed lime juice, and maple syrup until the syrup fully dissolves.

Add the Jägermeister or your chosen German amaro and stir the mixture with ice.

Strain the cocktail into the ice-filled Old Fashioned glass, ideally over a large cube or a chunk of block ice.

Express the lemon zest twist over the cocktail, then use it as a garnish.
