Shake the cognac, triple sec liqueur, freshly squeezed lemon juice, rich sugar syrup, chilled water or mineral water, Angostura Aromatic Bitters, and optional saline solution with ice.

Fine strain the mixture into the chilled cocktail coupe.

Express the lemon zest twist over the cocktail and place it as a garnish.
