Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill a highball glass.

Prepare a lime wheel for garnish.

Shake the reposado tequila, freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice, freshly squeezed lime juice, and rich sugar syrup with ice.

Strain the mixture into the ice-filled highball glass.

Garnish with the lime wheel.
