Chill a martini glass by filling it with ice water or placing it in the freezer.

In a mixing glass, combine Apfelkorn, aged Barbados rum, 100-proof rye, and Fino sherry.

Add Bénédictine and a dash of Angostura bitters to the mixing glass.

Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the ingredients until well-chilled.

Discard the ice water from the martini glass if used for chilling, and strain the mixture into the glass.

Garnish with a twist of lemon peel by expressing its oils over the drink and placing it on the rim.
