Blackberry-Mint Julep

Roughly chop the mint leaves. Combine the chopped mint, blackberries, and sugar in a blender. Blend until smooth, then strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a bowl, discarding the seeds. Rinse out the blender, return the strained puree, and add the bourbon along with small ice cubes. Blend until smooth. Divide the mixture among 4 glasses. Garnish each serving with a fresh mint sprig to enhance aroma and presentation.
