Chill the cocktail coupe in advance.

In a mixing glass, combine the reposado tequila, mezcal, Cynar, sweet vermouth, Averna, and Ancho Reyes chile liqueur.

Add a dash of orange bitters.

Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.

Strain the mixture into the chilled cocktail coupe.

Express the oils from a lemon peel over the drink, and use it as a garnish.
