Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill a martini glass.

Prepare a lime wedge for garnish.

Shake the vodka, crème de cassis liqueur, freshly squeezed lime juice, and rich sugar syrup with ice.

Fine strain the mixture into the chilled martini glass.

Garnish with the lime wedge on the rim.
