Use honey syrup made with 3 parts honey to 1 part water by weight for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare a garnish of mint sprigs bouquet.

Combine Irish whiskey, freshly squeezed lemon juice, honey syrup, Giffard Peppermint Pastille crème de menthe, and saline solution in a shaker.

Add ice to the shaker and shake thoroughly.

Strain the mixture into the ice-filled Old Fashioned glass.
