Select and pre-chill a cocktail coupe.
Prepare a garnish by selecting a fresh basil leaf.
Shake the basil leaves, Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal, blanco tequila, Green Chartreuse or alternative herbal liqueur, kummel liqueur, agave syrup, and freshly squeezed lime juice with ice until well-chilled.
Fine strain the mixture into the chilled coupe.
Garnish by floating a basil leaf on the surface.
