Big Apple Sour Martini

Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill a Martini glass.

Prepare a garnish by skewering a Luxardo Maraschino cherry and/or slicing a wedge of green apple.

Shake the vodka, your choice of apple brandy or applejack, cloudy apple juice or cider, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and rich sugar syrup with ice until well chilled.

Fine strain the mixture into the pre-chilled Martini glass.

Garnish with the skewered cherry and/or the green apple slice or wedge.
