Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill a martini glass.

Prepare a garnish by skewering a roll of cucumber.

Muddle the cucumber thoroughly in the base of a shaker. Consider removing the skin from the cucumber before chopping for a smoother texture.

Add the bourbon whiskey, Aperitivo Luxardo, rich sugar syrup, Angostura Aromatic Bitters, and Orange Bitters to the shaker.

Shake the mixture vigorously with ice.

Fine strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass.

Garnish with the skewered cucumber roll.
