Randy's Old Fashioned

Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare a twist of grapefruit zest for garnish.

Stir Canadian blended whisky, freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice, maple syrup, and a dash of Angostura Aromatic Bitters with ice until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into the ice-filled Old Fashioned glass, ideally over a large cube or chunk of block ice.

Express the grapefruit zest twist over the cocktail and place it as a garnish.
