Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill an Old Fashioned glass.

Prepare a garnish by dusting a blackberry with powdered sugar.

Shake the Amaro Montenegro, Giffard Crème de Mûre liqueur, freshly squeezed lime juice, rich sugar syrup, and a dash of La Fée Parisienne absinthe with ice.

Strain the mixture into the ice-filled Old Fashioned glass, ideally over a large cube or chunk of block ice.
