Original Sin

Use honey syrup made with 3 parts honey to 1 part water by weight for its listed portion.

Pour the absinthe into a martini glass filled with ice and top with water. Allow the mixture to stand, letting the glass become infused with flavor.

In a separate mixing glass, stir together the vodka, sake, and honey syrup with ice until well-chilled.

Discard the contents of the absinthe-coated martini glass. Then, fine strain the stirred mixture into this prepared glass, ensuring no ice or excess ingredients enter the final serve.
