Use honey syrup made with 3 parts honey to 1 part water by weight for its listed portion.

Select and pre-chill a cocktail coupe glass.

Prepare a garnish of a pineapple wedge and a dusting of black pepper.

Shake the reposado tequila, pineapple juice, freshly squeezed lime juice, and honey syrup with ice until well chilled.

Fine strain the mixture into the chilled coupe glass.

Garnish the cocktail with the prepared pineapple wedge, placing it on the rim of the glass.
