How to make Kiwi Caipirinha with Lime, Superfine Sugar, Kiwi. See ingredients and step-by-step instructions.
Select and pre-chill a highball glass. Prepare a stirrer using a spoon, wooden lolly stick, or a stick cut from sugar cane.
Slice a fresh lime in half from pole to pole, then cut one half into thin half-moon segments. Place these segments in a robust rocks glass.
Add superfine sugar and muddle with the lime to release the juices.
Add chopped kiwi fruit to the glass and muddle further to combine with the lime and sugar.
Once the fruit juice is fully extracted and the sugar is dissolved, transfer the muddled mixture into the pre-chilled highball glass.
Pour the chilled cachaça into the rocks glass used for muddling to rinse it, then transfer the cachaça into the highball glass.
Stir the mixture thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are well combined.
Fill the glass with ice, using an ice tapper to crack large ice cubes if necessary. Stir again before topping with additional ice.
Garnish with a stirrer, avoiding the use of straws.
