Select and pre-chill a cocktail coupe.

Prepare a fresh sprig of oregano for garnish.

Gently muddle the fresh oregano sprigs, including stalks and leaves, in the base of a shaker just to bruise them.

Add the Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal, Yellow Chartreuse (or génépy liqueur), pastis, freshly squeezed lime juice, and agave syrup to the shaker.

Shake vigorously with ice.

Fine strain the mixture into the pre-chilled coupe glass.

Garnish with the prepared oregano sprig.
