Use these specified component styles: Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old).

Select and pre-chill a Cocktail Coupe.

Prepare a mint leaf garnish.

Shake the light white rum, freshly squeezed lime juice, rich sugar syrup, Giffard Menthe Pastille, triple sec liqueur, and optionally, Bob's Peppermint Bitters with ice.

Fine strain the mixture into the chilled Cocktail Coupe.

Garnish with the mint leaf, either floated on the cocktail or affixed to the rim with a small dab of honey.
