Use 2:1 rich simple syrup for its listed portion.
Use Light white rum (charcoal-filtered 1-4 years old).
Chill an Old Fashioned glass.
Prepare a garnish by creating twists of orange and lime zest.
Shake the light white rum, cognac, freshly squeezed lime juice, freshly squeezed orange juice, rich sugar syrup, and your choice of egg white, Vegg White, or Fee Foam with ice in a cocktail shaker, then strain back into the shaker.
Dry shake without ice to adequately emulsify.
Fine strain into the pre-chilled Old Fashioned glass filled with fresh ice.
