DILL or no dill

Chill a cocktail coupe in preparation for serving. Prepare a garnish by selecting a fresh sprig of dill.

Muddle the cucumber slices in the base of a shaker until well pulverized. Add the fresh dill and gently muddle once more to release its flavors.

Introduce the gin, elderflower liqueur, freshly squeezed lemon juice, rich sugar syrup, saline solution, and, if desired, the listed drops of Bob's Coriander Bitters. Shake the mixture vigorously with ice.

Fine strain the mixture into the pre-chilled coupe glass.

Finish by garnishing with the prepared dill sprig.
