Monk's Revenge

Chill a martini glass by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.

Combine Bénédictine, rye, Campari, and Fernet Branca in a mixing glass.

Add ice cubes to the mixing glass to chill the mixture.

Stir the ingredients thoroughly until well chilled.

Empty the ice water from the martini glass.

Strain the mixture into the chilled martini glass.

Serve the cocktail straight up without any additional garnish.
