Chill a cocktail coupe by filling it with ice water and setting it aside.

In a mixing glass, combine the grappa, amaro, and sweet vermouth.

Add ice to the mixing glass.

Stir the mixture until well-chilled and properly diluted.

Empty the ice water from the cocktail coupe.

Strain the mixture into the chilled cocktail coupe.
